🐟 Sailfin Tang (Zebrasoma veliferum)
🐟 Sailfin Tang Zebrasoma veliferum
Tall Fins • Algae Grazer • Large Tank Required
📋The Sailfin Tang is a striking and graceful reef fish, instantly recognizable for its tall dorsal and anal fins and bold vertical striping. When fully extended, its fins make it appear much larger than its body length, making it an impressive centerpiece in large marine aquariums.
Known for its excellent algae-grazing ability, the Sailfin Tang plays a valuable role in maintaining a healthy, clean reef environment. It is generally peaceful toward most fish but may be territorial with other tangs, especially of the same shape.
Due to its large adult size, this species requires a very spacious aquarium with ample swimming room and plenty of live rock for grazing.
