📋 Cyperus Helferi is a true underwater sedge, native to the streams of Thailand and Southeast Asia. From a neat central rosette it sends out fine, bright-green, grass-like leaves that arch outward and sway gracefully with the water flow, creating the look of a natural riverbank or underwater meadow. It's a beautiful, unusual texture for the midground or background, and it shines in nature layouts, Asian river biotopes and planted community tanks.
It's a root feeder, so plant it in a nutrient-rich substrate with root tabs and give it moderate light and some gentle flow. Once settled, it grows into a full, elegant clump that brings constant, soft movement to the tank.
It's a freshwater plant, suited to freshwater aquariums.
