📋 The Six Line Wrasse has a vibrant orange-to-pink body crossed by six electric-blue horizontal lines, a neon blue eye ring, and a "false eye" spot at the base of the tail that helps confuse predators.
It comes from a wide range across the Indo-Pacific, spending its day actively weaving through rockwork, hunting pyramidellid snails, flatworms, bristleworms, and other small invertebrates, a valuable pest-control ally in many reef tanks. Every Six Line Wrasse we ship is feeding well.
It won't harm corals, but it's a real threat to small ornamental shrimp, crabs, and other tiny invertebrates you may want to keep, and it can be territorial or outright aggressive toward peaceful, similarly shaped, or newly introduced fish, especially in smaller tanks. It's best added as one of the last fish to your tank, and only one Six Line Wrasse should be kept per tank unless housing a mated pair. It's also a notorious jumper, so a tight-fitting lid is essential. It reaches up to 8-10cm, so a 120L tank suits it well.
