Anubias is one of the hardiest aquarium plants there is. It grows slowly and steadily, thrives in low to moderate light without CO2, and keeps its tidy shape with almost no trimming. Because it lives on the stone rather than in the substrate, you can move it whenever you change your layout. The porous lava stone adds natural texture and gives beneficial bacteria plenty of surface to settle on. Prefer to mount it yourself? It's also available as a potted plant.
