🐟 Carpenter’s Flasher Wrasse (Paracheilinus carpenteri)
Reef-Safe Wrasse • Flash Display Fish • Peaceful Reef Addition

📋 The Carpenter’s Flasher Wrasse (Paracheilinus carpenteri) is a brilliantly colored marine wrasse known for its orange-red body with electric blue fin edges and elongated dorsal fin filaments. Like its cousin, the McCosker’s Flasher Wrasse, males perform dramatic flashing displays by flaring their fins and intensifying their colors during courtship.

This wrasse is peaceful, reef safe, and active, making it an excellent choice for reef aquariums of 30 gallons or larger. Best kept singly or in harems with one male and several females, it thrives in aquariums with strong water flow and plenty of open swimming space.

It is a notorious jumper and must be housed in an aquarium with a secure lid.
