📋 Alternanthera Green is the fresh, bright partner to the classic red Alternanthera. Its broad lime-to-emerald leaves and compact, upright stems bring light and balance to a planted layout, and it makes red and dark-leaved plants look even richer beside it. It's a natural fit for Dutch-style aquascapes, nature layouts and colourful display tanks. Plant it in groups in the midground or background, and regular trimming keeps it dense and bushy.
Ours is grown emersed (above water), with tissue-culture cups also available, so you get clean, healthy plants ready to go. Semi-aquatic by nature, it's superb in paludariums and ripariums, where its stems can grow up and out of the water, and it brings instant fresh green to submerged layouts. Replanting healthy tops from time to time keeps it looking its best underwater.
It's a freshwater plant, suited to freshwater aquariums and paludariums.
