🐌 Black Military Helmet Nerite Snail (Neritina pulligera)

Freshwater Peaceful Algae Grazer • Genuine Jet-Black, Helmet-Shaped Shell • Cannot Reproduce in Freshwater — No Overpopulation Risk

📋 The Black Military Helmet Nerite Snail, also known as the Dusky Nerite, is genuinely distinguished by its smooth, glossy, jet-black shell shaped distinctly like a military helmet — a more rounded, domed profile than the classic Tiger or Zebra Nerite shells.

Like all nerite snails, this is a genuinely excellent, tireless algae grazer, working glass, rocks, and driftwood, and is considered genuinely safe for live plants.

A genuinely important and reassuring fact: nerite snails cannot complete their reproductive cycle in freshwater — the larvae require brackish water to develop — so eggs may be laid, but they will never hatch in a standard freshwater aquarium, meaning genuinely zero overpopulation risk.
