Stingrays
For Marine Aquariums
Few fish match the beauty of a Bluespotted Ribbontail Ray gliding across the sand, and few are as demanding. At #Fisheee Aquarium Store Phuket Thailand, we list this species honestly, with clear guidance on tank size, feeding, and safe handling, so you can decide whether a dedicated ray system is right for you.

Our Marine Stingray Collection:
We currently list one species: the Bluespotted Ribbontail Ray, a small stingray with electric-blue spots on a yellowish disc, growing to about 35cm across. It's a specialist's animal that needs a very large, flat-bottomed tank with soft sand and a confirmed feeding plan, and we're happy to talk it through honestly before you buy. #FishShopPhuketThailand
Why Choose #FisheeeAquariumStorePhuketThailand:
A ray needs the right tank before it needs anything else. Our team can advise on tank size, substrate, feeding, and the experience this species calls for, and will tell you honestly if it isn't the right fit for your setup. #FishShopPhuketThailand

Care tips:
-
Tank: a very large, flat-bottomed tank of at least 700L, with many keepers recommending about 1,000L, and a deep, soft sand substrate with no sharp décor
-
Feeding: unexplained food refusal is well documented in this species, so confirm a specimen is eating before you buy
-
Venom: the tail carries venomous barbs, so never touch near the tail and keep an emergency plan in place
-
First aid: for a sting, seek immediate medical attention, and immerse the wound in hot water (about 45°C) while waiting for care
-
Sourcing: the species is heavily collected for the trade, so choose responsibly
