📋 The Ranchu Goldfish is known as the king of goldfish, with a smooth, gracefully arched back free of a dorsal fin, a plump, rounded body and a plush, bubbly head growth that fills out with age. Its short, tucked tail gives it a charming, waddling swim that's full of character. Our assorted selection brings a mix of colours, from red and orange to calico, black and red-and-white, so every fish is unique.
It's a captive-bred fancy goldfish, perfected in Japan. Every Assorted Ranchu Goldfish we ship is feeding well.
This is a gentle, friendly, peaceful fish that paddles happily around the tank and quickly learns to come to the front at feeding time. It's best kept with other slow-moving fancy goldfish and grows up to 15cm, so an 80L tank suits it well.
