Our mix genuinely includes Black, Dalmatian, Gold, and Lyretail Mollies, and may occasionally include Balloon Mollies. Worth knowing honestly: the rounded "balloon" body shape is genuinely a selectively bred spinal deformity (a form of scoliosis), not a natural variety, and it genuinely comes with a somewhat reduced lifespan and birthing difficulty in females. If this doesn't sit well with you, a standard-bodied Molly is genuinely the same fish underneath, with a natural spine.
 
📋 Mollies are genuinely hardy, adaptable livebearers native to Central and South America, and are genuinely euryhaline — able to tolerate fresh, brackish, and even full marine water. They do well in a standard freshwater community tank, and many keepers find them do even better with a small amount of added salt, mimicking their natural brackish-leaning habitats.
Genuinely easy to breed, females give birth to live, free-swimming fry rather than laying eggs — a great introduction to livebearer breeding for newer aquarists.
