📋 The Golden Cloud Pleco (Baryancistrus sp., L048) is a striking medium-large pleco with a black body highlighted by pale golden to cream-colored markings that often form cloud-like blotches. Closely related to the Gold Nugget Pleco, it hails from Brazil’s Rio Xingu, where it lives in fast-flowing, oxygen-rich waters.

Growing to around 10–12 inches, the Golden Cloud Pleco is best suited for large aquariums with strong water flow, driftwood, and rockwork. Peaceful toward tank mates but territorial with other plecos, this species thrives when provided with a balanced omnivorous diet.
