📋 The Yellow Bristlenose Pleco L144 is a striking color morph of the popular bristlenose pleco, prized for its golden-yellow body and distinctive bristles that develop around the snout, especially in males.

This species is an excellent natural algae eater, actively grazing on aquarium surfaces and decorations while leaving live plants untouched. Its small adult size of 12 – 15 cm (≈ 5 – 6") makes it a perfect choice for community tanks compared to larger plecos.

Highly peaceful and hardy, the Yellow Bristlenose Pleco adapts easily to most freshwater setups. They are also one of the few plecos that are easy to breed in captivity, making them popular with aquarists who enjoy breeding projects.
