Its broad, rounded, rich-green leaves have gently wavy edges and overlap like butterfly wings, giving the plant a full, layered, lush look that stands out from standard Anubias. Tied onto driftwood or set among rocks, it becomes a bold focal point in the midground of nature layouts, community tanks and shrimp tanks.
It has all the toughness Anubias is famous for. It grows slowly and steadily in low to moderate light, needs no CO2, and keeps its shape for years with almost no trimming. Simply attach it to wood or stone, and it settles in to become a long-lived feature. Prefer it ready-made? It's also available mounted on Pterocarpus wood.
