📋 Crypt Lucens lives up to its name, which means "shining": its slim, lance-shaped leaves have a glossy, bright-green finish that catches the light. It grows in neat, upright, compact clusters that stay low, giving the foreground and front midground a clean, structured look. It's ideal for nature aquascapes, nano tanks, shrimp tanks and community aquariums, and it keeps its tidy shape with almost no trimming.
It's hardy, adaptable and happy in low to moderate light without CO2. Plant it in a nutrient-rich substrate with root tabs, then leave it to settle; as it adjusts to your tank, fresh new leaves take over and it spreads steadily by runners into a lush, low group.
It's a freshwater plant, perfect for freshwater aquariums and also at home in paludariums.
