📋 Bacopa Caroliniana, also known as Lemon Bacopa, is a classic, hardy stem plant with thick, rounded, bright-green leaves on sturdy upright stems. Under stronger lighting, the upper leaves can take on attractive bronze to reddish tints, and the leaves even give off a light lemon scent when crushed. Planted in groups, it forms neat, structured stands that suit the midground and background of community tanks, nature layouts and Dutch-style aquascapes.
It's one of the easiest stem plants there is. It grows steadily in low to moderate light, needs no CO2, and keeps its tidy shape with simple trimming. A natural marsh plant, it also grows superbly above the water in paludariums.
It's a freshwater plant, suited to freshwater aquariums and paludariums.
