📋 Echinodorus Red Rubin is a bold, statement sword plant with large, elongated leaves in deep red-to-bronze tones. It grows from a central crown into a full, tall rosette, giving the background height, structure and a rich splash of colour that draws the eye straight across the tank. As a single centrepiece in a larger aquarium, it's hard to beat, and it looks especially striking behind green stem plants and carpets.
It's a hardy, easy-going sword. Plant it in a nutrient-rich substrate, add root tabs, and it grows steadily into an impressive specimen with only the odd old leaf to trim away. Good lighting brings out its richest red, especially on the fresh new leaves.
It's a freshwater plant, suited to freshwater aquariums.
