    • Secure lids: most wrasse are capable jumpers, several notoriously so; a tight-fitting, gap-free lid is essential

    • Sand bed: several species (Six Line, Dragon, Red Coris, Yellow) bury themselves at night and need a soft, deep sand bed

    • Reef safety: most wrasse are reef safe with corals but may prey on small ornamental shrimp and crabs
