The Aura Blue Neocaridina Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi) is a selectively bred colour strain of the popular Cherry Shrimp, prized for a vivid, solid sky-blue colouration considered one of the most saturated blue strains.

Native to freshwater streams across China and Taiwan, all Neocaridina davidi colour strains — including this one — share identical care requirements regardless of their striking colour differences, since decades of selective breeding have shaped colour without changing the species' underlying hardiness.
