📋 Beckett's Water Trumpet is a classic, easy-going Cryptocoryne from the streams of Sri Lanka. Its wavy, gently textured leaves grow in warm bronze, olive and green tones, often with reddish-brown undersides, and the plant forms neat, natural clumps that bring earthy colour and depth to the midground. It's perfect for nature layouts, biotope tanks and low-tech community aquariums.
It's hardy, forgiving and happy in low to moderate light without CO2. Plant it in a nutrient-rich substrate with root tabs, then leave it to settle; as it adjusts to your tank, fresh new leaves take over and it spreads steadily by runners into a full, lush group.
It's a freshwater plant, perfect for freshwater aquariums and also at home in paludariums.
