📋 Boeseman's Rainbowfish, also known as the Boesemani Rainbowfish, carries a stunning two-tone body: deep violet-blue across the head and front, blending into fiery orange-yellow at the back. That bold split of colour makes it one of the most famous and sought-after rainbowfish in the hobby, and males glow brightest of all.
It comes from the Ayamaru Lakes of West Papua, Indonesia. Every Boeseman's Rainbowfish we ship is feeding well.
This is a lively, peaceful shoaling fish that sweeps through the middle and upper levels of the tank, and it looks its best in a group of six or more. Males put on dazzling displays, flashing their colours brightest in the morning light. It thrives in a planted tank and grows up to 10cm, so a 150L tank suits it well.
