📋 The Spotted Blue-Eye Rainbowfish, also known as Gertrude's Blue-Eye, carries a soft golden-yellow body with sparkling electric blue eyes, and delicate, translucent fins scattered with fine black spots. Males flaunt long, flowing fin rays, giving this tiny fish an elegant, almost lace-like look.
It comes from the streams and swamps of southern New Guinea and northern Australia. Every Spotted Blue-Eye Rainbowfish we ship is feeding well.
This is a tiny, peaceful shoaling fish that flits through the upper levels of the tank, and it looks its best in a group of six or more. Males spread their spotted fins in graceful displays to each other and to the females. It loves warm water and grows up to 3.5cm, so a 40L nano tank suits it well.
