📋 The Black Neon Tetra has a distinctive, striking pattern, a bold black horizontal stripe bordered above by a bright iridescent white-to-greenish line running the length of the body.
It comes from slow-moving tributaries and tributary streams across South America, naturally forming loose schools beneath dense marginal vegetation. Every Black Neon Tetra we ship is feeding well.
This is a hardy, adaptable species, comfortable across a wider range of water conditions than many of its tetra relatives, making it an easy, dependable choice for a community tank. It shows its best colour and most confident behaviour in a proper school. It reaches 3.5-4cm, so a 40L tank suits a school well.
