📋 The Blood Red Arowana is a genuine, distinct sub-grade of Super Red, originating from pockets of population along Borneo's Kapuas River system that develop a genuinely deep, glittering crimson color across the gill plates, scales, and fins — different enough in shade to be recognized under its own name, while still commanding a similar premium price range to true Super Red.
This is a genuinely large, long-lived apex predator, reaching up to 90cm, requiring a very large aquarium, a secure tight-fitting lid given this species' documented jumping behavior, and a genuine long-term commitment.
