This species is genuinely more light-sensitive than standard Silver Arowana given its albino eyes, and does best under subdued lighting with floating plants or shaded areas to reduce stress. This is a genuinely large, long-lived apex predator, reaching up to 90cm, requiring a very large aquarium, a secure tight-fitting lid given this species' well-documented jumping behavior, and a genuine long-term commitment.
