🌿 Staurogyne Porto Velho (Staurogyne sp. 'Porto Velho')
Compact Grey-Green to Purple-Tinted Leaves • Low, Bushy Foreground Plant • Spreads into a Natural Carpet
📋 Staurogyne Porto Velho is an attractive, compact foreground plant from Brazil. Its small, neat leaves range from soft grey-green to a subtle purple tint under good light, giving it a more unusual colour than other Staurogyne. It stays low and bushy, and with regular trimming it spreads sideways into a natural, carpet-like cover that softens the foreground of nature aquascapes, nano tanks and shrimp tanks.
It's adaptable and grows in almost all lighting conditions. Stronger light keeps it at its most compact and colourful, and once it has settled into your tank, its growth picks up nicely. CO2 is optional, though it helps it fill in faster.
It's a freshwater plant, suited to freshwater aquariums.
