🐟 Glowlight Tetra (Hemigrammus erythrozonus)
A Semi-Transparent Body With a Luminous Copper-Orange Stripe • Matching Orange Tips on the Dorsal and Caudal Fins • One of the Most Peaceful Tetras in the Hobby

📋 The Glowlight Tetra has a semi-transparent, silvery body lit up by a luminous copper-orange stripe running the full length from eye to tail, with matching orange tips on the dorsal and caudal fins, an effect that looks almost like a string of tiny lanterns moving through the water.
It comes from the Essequibo River basin in Guyana, naturally inhabiting shaded blackwater streams beneath dense forest canopy. Every Glowlight Tetra we ship is feeding well.
This is one of the most genuinely peaceful tetras in the hobby, a calm, easy-care schooling fish well suited to a mixed community tank. It shows its brightest glow under dappled light filtered through floating plants, rather than bright, open lighting. It reaches 3.5-4.5cm, so a 60L tank suits a school well.
