🐟 Fluorescent Glass Tetra (Parambassis ranga (dyed))

A See-Through Body Lit Up With Vivid, Eye-Catching Colour • A Bold, Budget-Friendly Centrepiece for a Nano Display • Colouration Is Applied, Not Genetic

📋 The Fluorescent Glass Tetra combines the naturally see-through body of the Indian Glassfish with a vivid, applied colour, a bold, eye-catching look that's genuinely unlike anything else in a nano tank.

The colouration on this variety is applied rather than genetic, distinct from our naturally transparent Indian Glass Tetra. It comes from the same species, native to rivers across South and Southeast Asia, including India, Myanmar, and Thailand. Every Fluorescent Glass Tetra we ship is feeding well.

This is a shoaling species, best kept in a group of 6-8, and does best on a protein-rich diet of live or frozen foods alongside flakes. Because of the colouring process, this variety typically has a shorter lifespan than our natural, undyed Indian Glass Tetra, a fact worth knowing as part of planning its care. It reaches up to 8cm, so a 90L tank suits a school well.
