🐟 Bekko Koi (Cyprinus rubrofuscus)
A Clean White, Red or Yellow Body • Bold Black Spots Along the Back • A Striking Classic of Simple Beauty
📋 The Bekko Koi carries a clean, solid body colour of white, red or yellow, scattered with bold, inky black spots along the back like stepping stones. That crisp, simple contrast gives it a striking, elegant look, and its three forms are Shiro Bekko (white), Aka Bekko (red) and Ki Bekko (yellow).
It's a captive-bred ornamental koi, developed in Japan from the Amur carp. Every Bekko Koi we ship is feeding well.
This is a peaceful, sociable pond fish that glides gracefully through the water, and it quickly learns to come to the surface to feed from your hand. It's long-lived, hardy and grows into a true pond centrepiece, reaching up to 90cm, so a pond of 4,000L or more suits it well.
