📋 Colin's Angelfish, also known as the Cocos-Keeling Angelfish or Blue-Backed Angelfish, is a delicate and beautiful dwarf angelfish with a soft golden-yellow body and a striking indigo-blue dorsal patch that gives it a distinctive "mohawk" look.
It comes from deep reef zones across the Indo-West Pacific, including the Cocos-Keeling Islands, Fiji, Palau, and the Marshall Islands, rare in the trade and prized by dedicated collectors. Every Colin's Angelfish we ship is feeding well, and we favour captive-bred stock, which is notably hardier and already adapted to prepared aquarium foods.
It's a naturally secretive, delicate fish that needs a quiet location and non-aggressive tankmates to feel safe enough to come out and eat confidently. It's reef safe with monitoring, generally showing little interest in corals, though individual behaviour should still be watched. It reaches up to 7.6cm, so plan on at least 210L.
