📋 Eibli's Angelfish, also known as the Red Stripe, Blacktail, or Orangeline Angelfish, is a striking dwarf angelfish with a pearly grey-white body crossed by evenly spaced orange-red vertical stripes, orange-tinted eyes, and a jet-black tail outlined in electric blue.
It comes from reef slopes across the Indo-Pacific, from Indonesia and Sri Lanka to Fiji and northwest Australia, one of the larger members of the Centropyge genus, noticeably bigger than popular relatives like the Coral Beauty. Every Eibli's Angelfish we ship is feeding well, though some specimens settle in a little more gradually, so we offer a variety of foods a few times daily, including algae sheets tucked under rockwork, to help new arrivals feel at home.
It's reef safe with caution, and may occasionally nip at soft and stony corals, sessile invertebrates, and clam mantles, which varies between individuals. It's territorial toward its own kind and other dwarf angelfish, so keep just one per tank, and if introducing alongside other Centropyge species, add them all simultaneously for the best chance of a stable outcome. It reaches up to 15cm, so plan on at least 280L.
