Marine Reef-Safe-With-Caution Nano Algae-Grazing Blenny • Pale Tan Body With Twin Black Spots • Genuinely Entertaining Nano Personality • Beginner-Friendly Marine Fish

📋 The Two Spot Blenny , also known as the Twinspot Blenny or Twinspot Coralblenny, has a genuinely simple but charming pale tan-to-white body with a darker band running through the eye, and two distinctive black spots on the lower body that give it its common name.

Native to reefs around Cebu in the Philippines and surrounding waters, this species is genuinely one of the smallest blennies in the aquarium trade, rarely exceeding 5cm — a great fit for nano and small reef tanks.

This is a genuinely entertaining, active fish, spending its day hopping between favourite perches, grazing algae from live rock, and observing its surroundings — some keepers have genuinely reported theirs perching on, or even pecking at, the shells of hermit crabs sharing the tank. It's generally reef safe, though we want to be honest that it can occasionally nip at fleshy corals or clam mantles, particularly if underfed, so a genuinely consistent food supply matters. It's genuinely territorial toward other blennies or similarly shaped fish and does best kept singly.
