📋 The Pink Skunk Clownfish, also known as the Pink Anemonefish or Salmon Clownfish, has a soft, elegant pink-to-orange body marked with a single thin white stripe running from snout to tail along the dorsal side, plus a postorbital stripe behind the eye, a useful identification feature distinguishing it from the similarly named Orange Skunk Clownfish, which lacks this eye stripe.
It comes from a wide range across the Indo-Pacific, from the Ryukyu Islands to the Great Barrier Reef, and from southeastern Thailand to Samoa, inhabiting protected lagoons and outer reef slopes. Every Pink Skunk Clownfish we ship is feeding well, and we acclimate it carefully and gradually, since it's a little more sensitive to swift water parameter changes than many clownfish.
It's a calmer, more timid clownfish compared with the more common Ocellaris, and it's one of the few clownfish species that can successfully be kept in pairs or small groups. It's fully reef safe and readily accepts most prepared aquarium foods, not requiring a host anemone to thrive, though it will host in the Magnificent, Sebae, Bubble Tip, Long Tentacle, or Carpet Anemone if provided. It reaches up to 10cm, so a 75L tank suits it well.
