🐠 Pink Skunk Clownfish (Amphiprion perideraion)

Marine Reef-Safe Anemonefish • Soft Pink-Orange Body With a Single White Dorsal Stripe • Genuine Group-Friendly Clownfish • Beginner-Friendly Marine Fish

📋 The Pink Skunk Clownfish, also known as the Pink Anemonefish or Salmon Clownfish, has a genuinely soft, elegant pink-to-orange body marked with a single thin white stripe running from snout to tail along the dorsal side, plus a postorbital stripe behind the eye — a genuine identification feature distinguishing it from the similarly named Orange Skunk Clownfish, which lacks this eye stripe.

Native to a genuinely wide range across the Indo-Pacific, from the Ryukyu Islands to the Great Barrier Reef, and from southeastern Thailand to Samoa, this species inhabits protected lagoons and outer reef slopes.

This is a genuinely calmer, more timid clownfish compared to the more common Ocellaris, and is genuinely one of the few clownfish species that can successfully be kept in pairs or small groups. We want to be honest that it's genuinely a slightly more delicate species with a documented history of poor shipping tolerance and sensitivity to swift water parameter changes, so careful, gradual acclimation matters. It's fully reef safe and readily accepts most prepared aquarium foods, genuinely not requiring a host anemone to thrive, though it will host in the Magnificent, Sebae, Bubble Tip, Long Tentacle, or Carpet Anemone if provided.
